Come and have a go with a whole variety of modern, printmaking processes. Complete beginners are welcome on this course! No previous experience or drawing ability necessary - I have carefully chosen methods that work for everyone with or without any art experience. This course is all about experimenting and having fun. In this 8 week course we will look at a variety of printmaking processes, and learn about what they are, how to experiment with them and how to use them to make abstract and beautiful prints using colour, texture and pattern as our focus. We'll cover monoprint, drypoint, tetrapak, collagraph and lino printing over the eight weeks so that you can have a little taste of each and time to play with your ideas too. Small groups here at Bristol Print Room make for a friendly, informal atmosphere and there'll be plenty of supervision for everyone. This is a really great course for anyone who wants to connect with their creative side but isn't sure where to start. Or for those who are just intrigued by printmaking and want to see what it has to offer.
