Bristol Print Room and Creative Space are teaming up this summer to bring you this fabulous two-part workshop! Part One: Taught at Bristol Print Room, Post code: BS5 6RN July 24th, 2pm - 5pm You'll learn how to print from beautiful pressed botanicals, capturing their intricate shapes and textures. You'll have time to experiment with the medium, playing with colour and composition. You'll then learn how to print onto pre-cut fabric pieces using a printing press. Part Two: Taught at Creative Space, Post Code: BS16 5HD July 31st 10am- 1pm The following week, you will head up to Creative Space where expert sewing tutor Lauren Holloway will show you step by step how to fold and sew your pieces to make a string of colourful, summery bunting. You'll learn how to thread a sewing machine use it to sew your printed pieces to bunting tape. You'll finish up with a professional quality string of fabulous, colourful bunting to display all summer! This workshop is open to absolute beginners, you don't need any prior experience of printmaking or sewing and you'll be amazed what you can create!
